Fun Day Trips in the Bay

The San Francisco Bay area contains nine counties, 101 cities, over 7,000 square miles, and around 7.8 million people. What does that mean? Opportunities to find things to do are endless. Located to the northeast of San Francisco, Concord provides easy access to all the Bay’s sights, sounds, and flavors. For those interested in history, Roaring Camps Railroad gives you the chance to explore the area’s history by steam-powered train.

Gilroy, Garlic Capital of the World

If you are a Garlic lover, a day trip to Gilroy, CA is a must. The Annual Garlic Festival, one of the largest food festivals in the US, takes place on the last weekend of July every year and is something not to be missed. Gilroy is also home to the only horticultural theme park in California. There are plenty of outdoor activities, wineries, and garlic-based adventures to check out while in the area. Don’t forget to stop by Garlic World for a unique souvenir before you head back to Concord.

The Bay is one of the most beautiful areas in the US, it’s also one of the most luxurious places to live.
