Fun Day Trips in the Bay

If you’re a fan of the cult classic movie The Lost Boys, you won’t want to miss checking out the beach boardwalk where many of the scenes were filmed. For those interested in history, Roaring Camps Railroad gives you the chance to explore the area’s history by steam-powered train.

Gilroy, Garlic Capital of the World

If you are a Garlic lover, a day trip to Gilroy, CA is a must. The Annual Garlic Festival, one of the largest food festivals in the US, takes place on the last weekend of July every year and is something not to be missed. Gilroy is also home to the only horticultural theme park in California. There are plenty of outdoor activities, wineries, and garlic-based adventures to check out while in the area. Don’t forget to stop by Garlic World for a unique souvenir before you head back to Concord.
