Local organizations are an excellent way to show your appreciation and compassion this year. It helps remind us of gratitude and to be useful to one another. It’s fast and easy. Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano is a thoughtful place to donate to help people from experiencing hunger. They’ve been helping people in need since 1975! That’s quite an accomplishment. Catholic Charities East Bay helps folks and families with housing, mental help, and lots more. Monument Crisis Center in Concord is another great non-profit offering those in need healthy food, resources, and referrals to improve their lives. Project 180 Ministries in Concord is also helping lots of people. Whichever organization you may decide to donate to, know that you are helping make the world a better place during the holidays and all year round.
